Definition of heat treatment:
It is a process of heating, insulating and cooling a solid metal or alloy in a certain medium to change its overall or surface structure, so as to obtain the required performance.

Annealing is divided into complete annealing and stress relief annealing
Complete annealing: It is a process of heating steel parts or various mechanical parts to an appropriate temperature above the critical point Ac3, and keeping warm in the furnace for slow and gradual cooling. Its purpose is to refine the structure, reduce the hardness, improve the mechanical cutting performance and remove the internal stress, and prepare the structure for the final heat treatment (quenching, tempering).
Complete annealing is suitable for steel castings, welded parts, rolled parts, etc. of medium carbon steel and medium carbon alloy steel.
